Features X150B jacket:
- Central closure with zip covered by flap and buttons
- Velcro neck closure
- Two flap pockets with velcro closure on the chest
- Elastic waist and cuffs
- Maximum number of washes: 5
Designed for use in the industrial sector where the wearer is exposed to:
- Short contact with open flames.
- Convective heat below 80 kW / m2.
- Radiant heat sources below 20 kW / m².
- Contact with splashes of molten metal.
- Contact with surfaces at a temperature of 250 ° C.
- Small splashes of molten metal during welding and related processes, minimizing the risk of small electric shocks and accidental contact
- with electrical contacts with voltage up to 100V DC under normal welding conditions.
- It may be necessary to use additional protections such as gloves, headphones, etc.
- When additional protections are used, they must be at least class 1
- The correct performance of the garment requires that it is always fastened correctly.
- To protect the whole body, the PPE must be worn fully fastened and in combination with other appropriate protective equipment that
- protect against the same risks as PPE, in addition to a helmet with visor, protective gloves and boots.
- To protect against electrostatic charges, the PPE must be in contact with the wearer's skin to allow the load to dissipate. It is necessary
- wear appropriate antistatic footwear and, if necessary, the operator must be connected to the ground.
- The garment protects the wearer from the danger of heat at a distance of 300 mm from an electric arc produced by a current of 4 kA between 2 electrodes
- spaced by 30 mm.
- Take into account the environmental conditions and risks associated with the operator's surrounding environment.
- For correct performance, the garment must be properly adjusted.
Recommendations against improper use:
- This PPE must only be used against the risks described above.
- Dirt and molten metal adhering to the garment can affect its performance.
- Never remove the garment if you are in an explosive or flammable environment or while handling explosive or flammable material.
- An increase in the oxygen content of the air can easily reduce the level of protection offered by the PPE.
- The electrical insulation capacity of the PPE can be seriously compromised by humidity, dirt or if it is soaked in sweat.
- This PPE is not designed to protect the neck, head, feet or hands.
- This PPE must not be used with other non-flame retardant garments or garments made from melt-proof material.
- Any tears must not be repaired by the user. A flammable or melting yarn can be extremely dangerous in the event
- of explosion or fire.
- Clothing made of polyamide, polyester or acrylic fibers, such as t-shirts and underwear, should not be worn under the PPE as they may
- melt in the presence of an electric arc.
- This product has been manufactured in compliance with the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/425, with standards EN 340: 2003 (Protective clothing - Requirements
- general), EN ISO 11612: 2015 (Protective clothing against heat and flame), EN ISO 11611: 2015 (Protective clothing used for welding and
- related proceedings), EN 1149-5: 2018 (Protective clothing - Electrostatic properties) and IEC 61482-2: 2018 (Protective clothing against
- of an electric arc), in accordance with IEC 61482-1-2: 2014, EN 13034: 2005 + A1: 2009, applicable, as reported in the certificate issued by
