The PTM 3M ™ Peltor ™ PTM (Push-to-Talk) PTM radio adapters allow you to use 3M Peltor MT series headphones with 2-way industrial portable radios. The use of this adapter in combination with the headset offers a dual benefit of mitigating loud sounds that could be harmful to hearing and allow workers to communicate with each other. Two-way radio allows workers to discuss projects, give instructions in the workplace and verbally warn colleagues about security risks.

The intrinsically safe design of this adapter allows it to be used in environments where flammable gases may be present. Sectors such as oil / gas and chemicals are examples.
