The 3M ™ PELTOR ™ Tactical XP J11 ATEX Helmet Mounted Headphones are approved electronic controlled attenuation headphones with many features that further enhance the ability to hear what you want while ensuring protection from harmful noise.
Active hearing protection: the user can control and vary the volume function according to the situation. If necessary, ambient noise can be amplified more than any other device.
Approved according to ATEX / IECEX M1 Mining Ex I M1 Ex Ia IMa and Gas Ex II 2G Ex Ia IIC T4 Ga directive.
How to use
- Protective headphones must cover the ears completely and fit snugly to the head. Adjust the headband so that the earphones apply even pressure for the best noise reduction. Move the hair from under the earphones. Do not wear caps and do not keep pencils or other objects behind your ears that could reduce the seal.
- Clean the earphones with warm soapy water and rinse them thoroughly. Do not use alcohol or solvents. Earphones usually need to be replaced twice a year or more often when they harden, crack, or don't fit snugly. Do not modify the ear muffs in any way. In particular, do not pull the time harness to avoid compromising the protection.
