Instructions for Use
to. Remove the filter from its packaging, check that it is suitable for its intended use. Check that the expiration date has not been exceeded.
b. Instructions for mounting the filters.

For full face, act as shown. Screw the filter clockwise to lock it:

Note: these filters should only be used with the appropriate respirators with the bayonet filter attachment system.

Warnings
to. Remove and replace both filters at the same time. Make sure both filters are of the same type and class.
b. Filter devices must be used in environments with sufficient oxygen level (above 19.5%).
c. National regulations may impose specific limitations on the use of filters depending on the class and the respirator used. The use of any 3M combined respirator / filter must comply with the rules of hygiene and safety provided by the respirator selection tables and current national regulations.
d. Filters should not be used in environments with contaminants or combinations of unknown or life-threatening contaminants.
is. The actual duration of a filter depends on the concentration of the contaminant, the type of work and the time of exposure.

In any case: leave the work area immediately, check the integrity of the respirator and replace the facepiece and / or filters if:
i) damage has occurred
ii) dizziness or nausea are felt
iii) there is a state of irritation
iv) breathing difficulty is felt.

to. Filter devices must not be used in confined spaces, such as small rooms with insufficient ventilation and where dangerous concentrations of gas and aerosols can occur.
b. Do not modify or alter the filters or respirators.
c. Use is limited to trained and qualified personnel.
d. During the verification of working conditions, in addition to the need for respiratory protection, pay attention to the need to protect other parts of the body (eg skin, eyes, etc.)
is. Take care that the respirator can NOT provide a satisfactory seal on the face in the presence of a beard or sideburns and therefore in this case decreases the protective capacity.
f. Do not use for leakage protection.

Important:
Failure to follow all instructions and warnings regarding the use of the product and / or improperly wearing the respirator during exposure may have negative effects on the health of the user, lead to serious illness or permanent damage.
