10,000 Volt Dielectric Boot
Electrically insulated boots that protect workers from gait voltage hazards when working under voltage on AC power supply of 33kV or less rated voltage. The maximum voltage to which workers can be exposed is approximately 10 kV (10,000 Volts).
The level of protection was determined according to the RTE rules (worker working on the ground at a minimum distance of 1 meter from a pole).
They are used when there is a risk of moisture impregnation on leather shoes. Made of dielectric rubber. 100% of the boots are tested.
